Learn the basics of knitting: knit, purl, cast on and bind off. This class is designed for first time knitters or those who need a refresher. Students are expected to have needles and yarn for class. Please stop by the shop before class and they will help you choose appropriate supplies.

Review basic skills then learn how to read a stitch pattern and use knits and purls in combination. Gain an understanding of knitting terminology, yarn weights, knitting needles, joining new yarn and fixing simple mistakes. Must have taken Learn To Knit I OR know how to cast on, knit and purl.
